ABOUT THE POSTER DESIGN
Growing up in Nieu-Bethesda in the center of South Africa, artist Ronelle Pienaar Jenkin draws on her own upbringing and experiences in Four Faces. The artwork features four youthful, androgenous faces and combines them with the text “Virgins of Nieu-Bethesda”, investigating how the viewers own associations help determine the meaning of the work.
